The Tarijan word for west is zaruun.

International locations:
Similarly named Zarun is the name of a town in Iran.

How I came up with this word:
Zaruun is a mixture of the transliterated word for west in Russian which is zapad (запад), and the transliterated word for west in Mongolian which is baruun (баруун).

There is another Mongolian word for west, örnöd (өрнөд).

donok : east

The Tarijan word for east is donok.

Donok is an unusual last name. DONOK keyring and shoehorn from Japan.

International locations:
Donok is a city in Russia. Lebong Donok Mine, Sumatra Island, Indonesia.

How I came up with this word:
Donok is a mixture of the transliterated word for east in Russian which is vostok (восток), and the transliterated word for east in Mongolian which is doron (дорно).

There is another Mongolian word for east, züün (зүүн).

In my other conlangs:
The Miresua word for east is iketä.
The Lhaesine word for east is seidon.

The Tarijan word for south is ömyu.

How I came up with this word:
Ömyu is a mixture of the transliterated word for south in Mongolian which is ömnö (өмнө), and the transliterated word for south in Russian which is yug (юг).

There is another Mongolian word for south, urd (урд).

sevod : north

The Tarijan word for north is sevod.

How I came up with this word:
Sevod is a mixture of the transliterated word for north in Russian which is sever (or syevir) (Север), and the transliterated word for north in Mongolian which is khoid (хойд).

There is another Mongolian word for north, umard (умард).

In my other conlangs:
The Miresua word for north is pihor.
The Lhaesine word for north is erden.
