rola : river

The Tarijan word for river is rola. Rola is a unusual last name. Rola is a rare feminine first name, notably Lebanese pop singer and model Rola Saad.

In other languages:
In Portuguese rola means turtledove.

International locations:
Rola is the name of a place in Bangladesh.

How I came up with this word:
Rola is a mixture of the transliterated word for river in Russian which is reka (река), and the transliterated word for river in Mongolian which is gol (гол).

Another Mongolian word for river is mörön (мөрөн).

In my other conlangs:
The Miresua word for river is jobai.
The Lhaesine word for river is sonde.
